Name: Amanda Parker Adams (aka Morgan Adams, A.P. Adams, and any other version she decides upon), also Morgana Quayle (Fantasy only).

Birthplace: Somewhere in the West Coast of the continent of North America

Birthdate: She’s a Libra, you figure the rest out.

Current Residence: Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest

Hobbies: Writing, sewing, making jewelry, singing along with Broadway showtunes, cooking, and torturing the small fluffy critters who lives with her (She can often be overheard asking them, “Here, want some catnip?” and then cackling like a madwoman as she locks herself in the bathroom, with the catnip in question)

Pet Peeves: People who drive too slow in the fast lane, people who drive too fast in the slow lane, people who don’t push their chairs in at the library or other public places, and people who assume things about her without asking first.

Years as a NaNoWriMo participant: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and now 2016. She knows people think she’s insane. But that’s the fun part. Keeping them guessing. 12 years and counting. She’s working on catching up with publishing.

Years she’s won NaNoWriMo: all of the aforementioned years. (Maybe she is insane.)

Here’s the fun one about her NaNoWriMo adventures: The only years she’s finished without having to cram a ton of words on the final day? 2005 and 2013. All the others in between were the crazy years.

Most words she’s written in one day: 16,000-ish. The final day of NaNoWriMo 2009. She claims to not remember much of what happened that day.

Favorite food: Chocolate.

Favorite non chocolate thing to eat: Artichokes, or Asparagus.

Favorite drink: Alcoholic: Guinness (but sadly can’t have it but on rare occasions. The gluten thing). Non-alcoholic: water, tea or Pepsi/Dr. Pepper

Throwback. Depending on how early it is and what she has to accomplish that day. She’s trying to wean herself off coffee, but it depends on the day. .

favorite animal: cats, with wolves and dragons coming a close (tied) second. And then there’s the ‘thing’ about Penguins… long story… really.

Anything else you want to know about her? Just ask, but be nice.  And nothing explicit.
